THUNDERSTICK by Kenneth T. Williams
Starring: Craig Lauzon & Brandon Oakes
Directed by: Glen Gould
Set and Lighting Design: Andy Moro

Dates: January 19 – February 3, evening performances: Tuesday – Sunday at 8pm with Sunday Matinees at 2:00pm
Location: Toronto Free Gallery, 1277 Bloor Street West @ Lansdowne
Thunderstick follows a couple of mismatched cousins on the trail of scandalous political intrigue. The cousins – one a globetrotting photojournalist (Craig Lauzon), the other an unsuccessful reporter with a penchant for drinking (Brandon Oakes) – have been estranged since their youth on the reservation and are now brought together by unforeseen circumstances. This raunchy comedy begins as one cousin throws up on the Prime Minister, and gets only more frenzied as they’re launched into jail, heartbreak and a road trip into the Ontario backwoods – all while chasing the story of their careers.
Lauzon is most known for his Gemini nominated performance on CBC’s Royal Canadian Air Farce. Oakes (Mohawk) is an accomplished actor who just wrapped up Barnaby’s Rhymes for Young Ghouls feature.
