About Culture Storm
Culture Storm was started by Heather Haynes to focus on creating original works and produce works by artists through visual arts, performance, new media, film, theatre and curated projects that inspire meaningful dialogues and foster social, political, community engagement and change.
Heather is the former Founder and Artistic Director of Toronto Free Gallery. She has over 30 years of experience working in the arts and has worked with notable artists that include, James Luna, Guillermo Gómez-Peña and La Pocha Nostra, Tomson Highway, Cliff Cardinal, Emory Douglas of the Black Panthers, Ryan McMahon, The Yes Men, Sister Spit, The Pinky Show, Carole Condé & Karl Beveridge, Action Terroriste Socialement Acceptable, Favianna Rodriguez, Setsune Collective and was a founding collective member of Indigenous Fashion Week Toronto and the Producer.
